Tour du Pain is run by WouterMedia (KvK 65271955). Questions, or a request to see or delete your data: info@tourdupain.com.
The waitlist
When you sign up we store your email address, the trainer you picked (if any), the language of the page and the time you signed up and confirmed. We use it for one thing: to mail you about the launch of Tour du Pain, and to know whether you're one of the first 100 riders.
Your consent is the legal basis. You give it by clicking the link in the confirmation mail. If you don't click it, we delete your address after 30 days.
You can leave at any time with the link in every mail, or by mailing us. We then delete your row straight away. Once the game opens and the waitlist has done its job, we delete the list.
Where it's stored
The list lives in a Cloudflare D1 database in the EU. Cloudflare also sends the mails and runs Turnstile, the spam check on the form. Cloudflare is our processor. To block abuse we count signups per connection, using a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address that we can't turn back into the address, and we throw those counters away within a day.
No tracking
This site sets no cookies and has no ads or tracking pixels. Your language choice is kept in your own browser (local storage) and never sent to us.
The game
The game will be able to read your heart rate from a strap. Heart rate is health data under the GDPR, so the game only uses it after you've explicitly agreed to that in the game itself. A separate privacy notice for the game will follow before it opens.
Age
In the Netherlands you need to be 16 to give this consent yourself. Younger riders need a parent to sign up for them.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, and to receive it in a file. You can also complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
